A vote that is even more important than your vote

A VOTE THAT IS EVEN MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR VOTE
Never will you, the voter, have cast a more important vote than your PETITION on this website. For that PETITION will be crucial in the decision as to whether in future it is worth voting at all in a British Parliamentary election. A vote in an election is not Democracy. It depends on whether you have a choice when you vote. It also depends on whether there is a clear set of rules about:
- what kind of people have been selected for you to vote for
- whether the parliament into which you are sending your representatives has any power
- whether your Parliament is subservient to another power
- whether your representatives will do YOUR will when they get to Parliament
- whether the voting system recognises that you are the sovereigns (not those MPs who merely represent your sovereignty)
- whether, having lent your sovereignty to MPs for 5 years, they can and will exercise it
Much of the above in a Democracy is laid down in a Constitution. The United Kingdom has a Constitution – a written one going back 800 years. It is in grave danger and considerable doubt. The British people need to be sure. The British people need to have their nationhood and sovereignty confirmed and the powers of their Parliament asserted.
THAT IS WHAT THE BRITISH DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE DOES
PLEASE USE THE PETITION ON THIS WEBSITE - AND PASS ON TO OTHERS
